The Texas Military Family is an organization with a small staff, a few great volunteers, and a lot of love. TMFF provides family members of returning soldiers flags to have while they await the arrival of thier loved ones. TMFF also assists all deploying soldiers with playing cards, stickers, phones and a hug of encouragement before they load the plane to go forward on their mission.
Staff and Volunteers put together care packages for soldiers in training and provides supplies for over seas as well as single soldier care packages for soldiers returning to the barracks. TMFF collects supplies of items that soldiers are allowed to have (i.e. personal care items, batteries, paper, envelopes, etc)

TMFF also supports all of the Soldier Readiness Processing Centers on Ft. Hood. All soldiers are required to process through these centers prior to deployment and immediately after they return. This process often takes hours. TMFF supports these sites with snacks and drinks.
